The Year of Motion

In 2021, we spent time on three rules of thumb: Gratitude, Execution, and Perspective.  Those were our areas of target because we had gone through an unfamiliar kind of change (the pandemic) which realigned everyone. When life shifts us, we should also shift and adjust our regiment to match up with life so that our motion(s) flow.

In 2022, our motion is the area of focus. Your motion is what your life consists of: morals, principles, boundaries, opportunities, hobbies, career(s), family, friends, lovers etc. No matter the space (top of the mountain, bottom of the pool, somewhere in the middle), your motion could be better. Understand that in 2022, you will still need to adapt and adjust as things in your life transpire, life happens fast whether we like it to or not. That's why it’s so crucial that we find our motion, you must be able to maintain your pace, your balance, and your composure--no matter how fast or slow, how high or how low, life is/goes for you. Whatever methods you have created that have helped you endure/overcome things in your life, protect those. Those things are a part of your motion. Whatever boundaries you’ve set for yourself, continue living and standing by those. In 2022, we want to protect the variables in our life that add value and bring life more meaning--no more empty trips. But it’s the way we protect varibles that creates a better motion, you have to be more diligent with your priorities, balanced in your consumption (social media, foods, rest, activity, etc). Stay dedicated to bettering yourself, yes it is extremely difficult to make the right decision for yourself consistently--but think about the times you weren’t consistent and how much stagnancy and blockage were present in your life.

Motion, here’s to your: continued, new or  awaited. Stay the course, be easy but be diligent to yourself and to others. Im praying for yall’s motion, your capacity to overcome and your success, personally and socially.

Happy New Year.

  • Life can be fleeting and it may cause us to be discontent with the way things are going. But it’s because life moves so fast, that the memories and experiences we create with family, friends and in the pursuit of happiness that we are able to eventually embody the success/greatness that was always meant for us. Love you fam, and thanks for posting this I need the reassurance that I was in the right path
